(More customer reviews)I was one of the lucky people without electricity for over two weeks after Hurricane Ike hit Houston. This fan was the only thing that made things bearable. I went through a lot of batteries but it was worth every penny. I now have two of these; one I keep in my car during the summer, just in case I have car trouble and have to wait in the heat for help to arrive.
Three days ago, we had a huge storm. The power was out for hours after the storm blew threw. I took my fan down to the pool area where people were trying to get cool. Needless to say, I was very popular.
