I purchased this replacement blade from RSC, West Monroe, La and installed it with the assistance of my roofer, Carl Carroll of Winnsboro. It was put into service last week and worked great.Very quiet and smooth and moved the air out nicely. However after a couple of days of operation I noticed a light "ticking" sound. Less than 24 hours later it failed completely. The blades tore completely away from the hub.The blades appear to have "work hardened" and failed due to hairline cracks beginning at heel of the blade, thence moving inward in the direction of the hub. Once the cracks reached the hub the blade assembly completely tore away from its hub and lay at rest as the motor turned, quietly doing nothing (air-wise that is). This may be from a bad batch of blade stampings. However, I would be interested in hearing if others have had such a problem.Secondly, since this blade cost less than $20, is there a heavier duty version that I can acquire.Respectfully, David Furr
