(More customer reviews)With local energy prices scheduled to soar this summer, I bought this fan hoping to be able to reduce the thermostat setting and still be comfortable. The two main criteria for me, since the unit was going to sit in my living room, were that it must be quiet, and it must be efficient. The fan has lived up to all expectations. Many fan makers do not publish their noise levels, but Air King did, and I have found the specs to be accurate. The lowest setting is quieter than my PS2 or XBOX. The 20" blades move plenty of air, even on Low. High is like sitting in a tropical storm, really needed only for quick cooling after a long period of yard work.
I like this fan, I find the quality to be just fine, and I would buy another in a heartbeat if I needed one.
