(More customer reviews)I've had this remote control for ~7-8 years and use it on a Hunter Ceiling Fan.The light switch is either a dimmer (if you hold it down it cycles the lights from dim tobright and back again).However, the dim settings get the lower light levels by chopping the power so that there is a flicker of the lights so I don't use the dimmed positions.If you hit the switch quickly it turns the lights on and off.I keep the lights in the brightest position which works well when I need to see and clean up the bedroom.The fan speeds are off, Low, Med and High. They work well.What can I say, 8 years running and no problems....Yay me.Good luck
