(More customer reviews)The fan works much better than the old noisy vent fan but be forewarned,if you are used to getting light from the vent during the day this unit will cut the light by about 70 percent.
Installation was a real pain and the instructions on the box could be improved.The instructions on the box refer to more instructions inside the box as to how to adjust the crank gearbox to line up with your crank shaft.There are no instructions in the box.Also there is a bag of parts in the box that aren't mentioned in the instructions.With my installation there was a half inch gap on all four sides after installation was complete that I'm going to have to figure out how to cover.
Bottom line is that, once installed, the fan is a big improvement over the old bath vent fan.
