(More customer reviews)This is by far the strongest little fan I've ever encountered.In fact, it moves more air than most larger fans.I was given this fan by someone who had used it at their place of work in the mid-90s and it's still going strong today.Actually, I have two of them, one for the home office and one for the bedroom.It is loud for its size, but still quieter than a large fan, so sleeping with it turned on is not a problem for me.They really don't build things like this anymore.This fan is make out of really good plastic for the base and a metal blade cover.My complaints are that it's a design style reminiscent of the 80s, mine is old so it's not Energy-Star rated, and it's hard to clean.I've tried taking it apart in the motor area to clean it like you're supposed to and it takes about an hour of fiddling with it to get the back cover to go on just right.And a can of air can't quite get all of the dirt off of the blades.Regardless of that fact, this fan is sticking with me as long as it continues to work.You'll have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands!
