(More customer reviews)I purchased this charger after a 36 hour power failure. The emergency cell phone charger I had didn't work, so I lost use of my cell phone after the first day. I tried this one when I received it, and it worked. I am hoping to charge a portable battery-operated TV as well as the cell phone during a power outage.
The batteries and the battery holder were difficult to insert into the case. After several tries, the charger still wouldn't work. Even my son worked with it a while before he discovered that two of the batteries, which were lined up in the holder, weren't touching each other. So make sure you insert the batteries all the way so that they touch.
