(More customer reviews)The fan is great and lives up to the standard Panasonic has built for whisper fans.However the instructions are vague, cover poorly new construction installs and do not work at all for retrofits.Had to basically take the unit apart to get it to fit properly and then the braces did not work at all.Had to rig up something to replace the ones supplied.I thought that perhaps I was given the wrong braces.
I am not a amateur and do a lot of moderately complex home improvements jobs but this one will rank up there as a very difficult one.
