(More customer reviews)As a former X10 user, I've been waiting for the right product to get back into home automation.Everything has been too expensive for my tastes until now.This unit allows you control your lights from ANYWHERE with your iPhone.The interface is a little simplistic but you can make your own if you are so inclined.The switches are fairly easy to install, but require a neutral connection in the box.

The SmartLinc Central Controller connects to an existing router (required) allowing for direct communication via the Internet or Wi-Fi from an iPhone, iPod touch or any other Web-enabled PC, Phone or PDA . With SmartLinc, you can check to see if you've left the lights on and even turn them off while you're at the office or you can simply dim the lights while relaxing on your couch. Included are two dimmer switches which will replace existing switches to each control a dimmable light and an On/Off relay switch which will replace an existing switch to control a non-dimmable fluorescent light or appliance. From your web-enabled device, you can control the modules individually or as "scenes."
