TPI Radiant/Fan-Forced Heater Review

TPI Radiant/Fan-Forced Heater

We have purchased a large quantity of these fans for use at mountain-top communications sites that can get pretty chilly in the winter months.Over the years, these have proven to be very robust, dependable heaters. They are also great camping heaters in that, on the LOW setting, the fan does not kick on and off, or run at all.If you're a light sleeper, this allows you to sleep, while still getting plenty of radiant heat with a thermostat setting. The LOW setting is enough to keep a 24-foot trailer nice and warm inside while outside temperatures are in the 40's.The low setting is also nice since it is not drawing much current through your trailer's electrical wiring. These are sturdy heaters and I can't recommend them highly enough.

We really love this fan, I am so bummed we hadn't heard of it earlier.I want to get another one to blow air in the opposite direction! It works very well, and obviously uses no energy which is great! It's idiot proof too, you just set it on the woodstove and it turns itself on and off, I really cannot say enough wonderful things about it!

Product Description:
Heat-powered fan generates its own electricity from your wood stove's heat, improving the efficiency of the stove by circulating the warm air it produces. Sends the air directly into the living area rather than having most of the heat rise immediately to the ceiling. Sits on top of stove; starts automatically when stove surface temperature reaches 150deg F. Speed increases as the stove heats up and decreases as it cools down. Turns off automatically. Aluminum fan will never rust.

Cadet #67507 2000W Wall Fan HeaterPlenty of heat, wish the forced air fan was bigger. If I were to buy one again I think I would have gone with the next size bigger from Cadet. I have one in my family room and love it, this one just doesn't blow the hot air. I worry about it over-heating.
